Why I am a proud slut

Why I am a proud slut

Today’s post is inspired by @Wednesdaygirlch
Because she is “Wednesday” and she is “wicked”. This are her words.

When I asked her whether she’s promiscuous too, without hesitation she said yes. We laughed and kept on talking about other things.

But the thought stayed in my mind.
Being promiscuous is supposed to be a bad thing. Just as being a slut is. And any other name I or anyone of you might have been called.
How is it then that we don’t take it as an insult?

The important thing is to understand what it means.
When someone called me a “slut” as an insult, all I heard was that I am a woman who is aware of her sexaullity and her desires and doesn’t care much what others think.

I am a slut. And I don’t mind being one. I even love being one. And when the right man calls me a slut, I simply melt. I might even be proud to be one.

We shouldn’t be afraid of what people might think or call us. They will do it anyway. So we should try and make the best of it.

Be a slut! Be promiscuous! Be whatever you want to me!

Isn’t it wonderful that we have the power to turn something that was meant in a bad way into something good? Into something that we are not ashamed of. Into something that makes us proud.

Check out who else is being wicked this Wednesday

a wicked wednesday post inspired by me … i am honoured! although for the sake of confusion, i do need to qualify, that while i admit i’m a slut, i am only a slut for Him.

  2. Discovering that being a slut was in fact to many men a desirable thing was a real turning point for me. Suddenly it was something I could understand and nurture rather than hide away.

  3. A fantastic attitude. What some see as promiscuous, I see as emancipated. And while I’ve never used the word “slut” in a negative connotation, I do love it when a woman describes herself as such or begs me to make her one or call her one. I love that words have power, that just hearing the word “slut” makes me want to fuck. I love that screaming the words “you fucking slut” through gnashed teeth while pounding away at one lover made her cum for the first time in months. We give ourselves freedom but we do have to fight for it and words like “slut” becomes the weapons we use to battle.

  4. I’ve never understood why “slut” was meant to be derogatory. A tourist who visits many countries, is “well travelled” or a student who has a large amount of knowledge is “well read” but a woman (or man) who is promiscuous is “a slut” not “well sexed.”

What a strange world we live in.
