This week is busy and emotional and overwhelming. So I decided to use the questions provided by Julie for this week’s #5Things
- When did you first realise you were kinky?
When I was 22. That is when I learnt the words to finally describe what I have been feeling, craving, dream for several years before.
- How did it manifest itself?
The Internet made all the difference. I was bored and joined SecondLife. Does anyone remember that? There I met people and saw dungeons and, as stated above, learnt many new words. I talked to people in SecondLife, I played with people there. My first baby steps into the world of kink.
- What did you do about it?
Two years later I was curious enough to want to experience some of those things in real life. So I went to England, to meet a man, whom I have met online. The rest is history – not quite. There were many more men and meetings and chats and disappointments and heart break to follow. Until I again went to England, to meet a man I met online.
- How is your life different now than it was before?
Life always changes. With every experience we make. I’m definitely a different person than I was 16 years ago. Some things I’d like to change haven’t changed – yet. But I am happy with where I am and where I’m going. And who my partner in all that is.
- What kink related things would you like to do in the future.
There are a lot of new things I tried in just the past two years. Things I never thought I would enjoy. And I know there are plenty other things I will encounter. Things I never thought of. And I look forward to that.
I know of SecondLife but it was never something I got into. For me it was chatrooms attached to erotic writing sites that really helped me realise that i was kinky

Lilith,
I 💗the picture and learn about your journey. Something has occurred to me over the last year, year and a half. I am a blunt person, and call things as they are. As a woman, (not only in this situation) we seem to take the brunt of the risks in pursuing our interests in the kink lifestyle.
I am not man-bashing or hating on men, just stating a fact.
I am not a blogger, however, I do have things I would like to share with folks.
I enjoy the prompts that this group of talented writers post and reading the responses.
Look forward to more of your writing.

I forgot to mention, Second Life (I am not sure if it is the one you spoke of) is still around, I stumbled upon it last year.
Everyone has his own path. But sooner or later people realize who they are.
