For this week’s SinfulSunday there will be more words than there are supposed to be.
More then 2 years ago I replied to a tweet. I know I have started several posts with those words, but bear with me.
More than 2 years ago I replied to a tweet. Tweets turned into DMs, DMs turned into WhatsApps, WhatsApps turned into calls. Following each other on Twitter turned into friendship, friendship turned into flirting, flirting turned into love and d/s. I didn’t plan on this to happen.
I had no idea what that one action would lead to. I am happy things turned out the way they did. It’s not always easy. It’s constant work, communication, learning. But every thought, every tear, everything I put into it is worth it.
In recent developments something similar happened. Following each other on Twitter turned into friendship, friendship turned into curiosity, curiosity turned into love. I didn’t plan on this to happen.
It’s complicated. It’s not simply a boyfriend and a girlfriend for me. It’s three people, who are connected, who have a past and want a future. There are fears and hope. Each decision one of us makes, will effect the others. It is scary.
Here I am. Holding out my hand and I’m asking you both to join me. Be partners, find out what it means and where it will lead. There will be laughs and tears and hope and pain and love. It will probably be painful at times, but it will definitely be worth it.
Join me into an uncertain future. We don’t have to figure things out right away. It will take time, but we have all the time in the world.
